Problemas com a resolução do ecrã

Fg estou farto !
Já instalei tdos os drives já segui montes de tutoriais e nada continuo a ter uma resolução maxima de 800 x 640 e eu quero uma resolução de 1024 x 768 o que faço ? é que já estou a ficar fulo>(>(>(>(>(>(>(>(

Que driver tens instalado? Quais são as resoluções que tens configuradas? :P

Sem isso é um pouco difícil ajudar, posta o xorg.conf...

isto nao é nenhuma farmácia...
E podias usar o search para encontrares xorg.conf semelhantes, para veres o que falta, como por ex o sincronismo vertical e horizontal...

Soldi3r^^ : porque que nao usas o nvidia-settings, em vez de tares a editar o xorg, secalhar de tanto teres mexido no xorg isso deve tar um trapalhada. Se nao der com nvida-settings, mete ai o teu xorg completo.
 
Pah, a melhor maneira de fazeres isso é sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg.
Tem apenas atenção que nos drivers tens de escolher nvidia :)

ah e não sei se o display size está certo para o meu monitor :/ mas acho que não... alguem sabe qual é o certo? é um 15" TFT-LCD
